Poop Scooping Services
We perform once a week poop scooping services starting as our main offering, but we also have other options to help our customers with their dog poop situation. We can come out once a week or twice a week, if that is what works best with your schedule. We also offer deodorizer and sanitizer spray treatments. A lot of people don't really know what to expect when it comes to a dog poop scooping service, how we charge, how we do our job etc. Here's the basics:

We come out once a week with a small head metal rake, and a 3 gallon Rubbermaid dustpan. We line the dustpan with a garbage bag and walk around your yard using the rake to scoop all the dog poop into the dustpan, one pile at a time. Typically we walk the yard in linear pattern like you would if you were mowing your lawn. Once we've covered the entire yard, we tie off the plastic bag filled with dog poop and put it in a sealed container for later disposal at our facility.

We don't really end up interacting much with our customers other than to let them know we are on the way every week. Nobody even has to be home, in fact, most people are at work when we are scooping their yard and wouldn't even know we exist except for the clean yard and the billing statement they receive every month.

We price our services at $17 a visit for once a week scooping of the backyard for one dog, plus $3 each additional dog, but we bill to your credit card at the end of each month.

We always text you when we are on the way with an ETA so you know that we are showing up, and also to be able to let your dogs back in if they are aggressive or are escape artists. Remembering to shut the gate behind us and not let the dogs out of the backyard is a big part of our job, so we are sure to make it a priority.

We also make it a point to spray our shoes, rake, and dustpan with sanitizing spray and clean our tools in between yards along our route to ensure we don't spread any germs. We are dog owners too, so we take this seriously, and if we don't, we end up putting our own dogs at risk when we go home.
We understand that not everyone has the same schedule or budget to spend on poop scooping services. Sometimes their dogs need to be put inside before having someone enter the backyard, other times our customers work from home and can't have their dogs' barking interrupt their zoom calls, etc. For other customers, they need us to come by more than once a week because they have so many dogs that the poop piles up, or makes a stink right by their patio. That's why we offer both bi-weekly, and twice a week services. Check the pricing section for current rates.
Our customers' needs don't just end at poop scooping. Sometimes the smell on your back porch / patio area can get pretty bad, or the poo smell by your pool or hot tub distract from your leisure time. That's why we offer two different options on deodorizer and sanitizer sprays.

For concrete and masonry areas like tile, we recommend Kennelsol spray, which is a chemical based sanitizing mixture used at vet offices to help decontaminate against viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens. It also has a mint oil based aroma so it helps tremendously in getting rid of lingering poop related odors. We can spray it as often as you want it, from once a month to twice a week. We charge $10 per an application for reasonably sized areas.

For grass and other areas near your patio, we use an enzyme based mixture called Odormute. This comes as a powder which you mix with warm water to activate the enzymes and spray on affected surfaces. The collection of enzymes is designed to break down aromatic molecules, oils/fats, some proteins, and other compounds likely to cause a stink. It is safe for your grass as well, but by its nature, does not have a fragrance. We've seen some other poop scoop companies offer lawn "sanitizing" sprays using some other compounds, but we find this claim to be quite preposterous given the amount and type of microbes that are necessary for your grass to thrive, we'll make a blog post about that later.
