Pooper Scooper Near Me - My Story
I was born in Houston Tx and have lived in Texas all my life, splitting time between the greater Houston area, The Woodlands, the Valley (south Texas), and currently living in Tomball. After graduating from the Woodlands High School I attended the University of Houston Downtown where I obtained a B.S. in Biotechnology. Before doing the pooper scooper gig, I worked for a few pharmaceutical research/manufacturing based companies in Houston for a few years, then gave in to my hard-wired entrepreneurial bug.

In 2013 I started a company called Snap Junk Removal in Tomball Tx, beginning with just junk removal, then branching off into demo and dumpster rental. After operating that business for almost 8 years, COVID hit, eating into the economy and slowing my business with it, and at the same time, got in a car wreck in the company truck, resulting in a lawsuit against me and some insanely high insurance rates, then got audited for taxes. So I started a pooper scooper business after learning about it through a YouTube video from a dumpster rental entrepreneur talking about some of his other side-hustles. I originally did it with a partner for about a year and a half (a company called DoodyBug) but we decided to part ways and thus HoustonPoopScooping.com was born. So, the company name is new, but I've actually been in the pooper scooper service business in Houston for about two years as of 15Dec2022. As such, I'm well acquainted with all the ins and outs of poop scooping because I've built the business from the ground up before. I'm looking forward to building another pooper scooper route and the kind of consistent and relatively stress free lifestyle that it permits.

In my spare time I like to practice jiu-jitsu, play drums / write music, and study all manner of entrepreneurial related topics.
